Introduction |
|
This one-day comprehensive workshop is aimed at introducing IT professionals to the fundamentals of Web Services. The course focuses not only on Web Services concepts, technologies and standards, but also on the business value of Web Services. Case studies will be used to illustrate the business component of Web services and how organizations are reaping benefits through this technology. Students will also be exposed to building and consuming Web Services through hands-on labs. |

Ms Sethi, Neerja |
Neerja Sethi is currently teaching in the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). She obtained M.S. (Computer Science) from SUNY, Buffalo, U.S.A. She has also obtained certifications in Java and is a Sun-certified Java Instructor. She teaches courses on Java and Web Technologies at the undergraduate level at NTU and has also conducted workshops for the industry. She has written several case studies on project management, e-commerce, and Web Services. She has more than 10 years of IT industry experience in object-oriented design, application-architecture, and project management. Her interests include e-commerce, Web Services and distributed systems. |
